Why I love Banff: I first visited Banff for a work trip as a productive retreat in the Rockies. Driving from the Calgary Airport into Banff National Park was truly breathtaking - the anticipation grew that the Banff townsite, the Canadian Rockies, began to surround me everywhere I looked. Having grown up in Ontario, I had never seen mountains like this before, and I still find them mesmerizing each time. 

There are many diverse experiences in and around Banff National Park, from embracing the Canadian Wilderness adventurous hiking and camping in the vast Parks Canada campsites to a hybrid of staying within the Banff townsite exploring picturesque hikes or a relaxing, luxurious escape in the Rockies at 4-star hotels like the Fairmont Banff Springs and enjoying fine dining. There is a trip and something special for everyone to discover in Banff. It's why I visit every year, and I keep finding new things, restaurants and hidden gems.
