GARRETT
more than just a DJ
Garrett Gaudet is a Canadian content creator, website designer, and educator. He is best known as the creator and host of the EDM Weekly podcast.
With a passion for marketing, business, and design. Garrett launched the creative agency Strobe Creative. As the Creative Director of Strobe Creative, he works with brands to build websites and generate marketing strategies to elevate their business.
For the past five years, Garrett has been a Professor at Fanshawe College's Business Entrepreneurship program and now serves as the Program Coordinator.
Garrett likes to DJ, curate playlists, create content, and watch Formula 1 and Ajax Amsterdam in his free time.
the ENTREPRENEUR
Garrett launched his first company, EDM Weekly, in 2013 as an electronic dance music podcast and media publication. EDM Weekly worked with artists, record labels, music festivals, and PR teams to promote music from emerging and established talent.
Through the years, Garrett has also worked on many entrepreneurial projects.
In 2017, Garrett developed a limited edition of Strobe Clothing t-shirts created with 100% Canadian materials and produced in Oxford County.
In 2018, Garrett Gaudet founded Strobe Creative as a Creative Agency that provided Website Design, Digital Marketing, Social Media and Graphic Design services for entrepreneurs/small businesses in Southwestern Ontario. As the agency evolved, Strobe transitioned from social media to focus solely on Website Design services. Garrett works with clients worldwide to provide Website Design & Website Maintenance to their businesses, non-profit organizations and teams.
During the Summer of 2021, Garrett teamed up with Camilo Galvis for their Snack the Globe project. The project involved creating a snack box of snacks produced in Oxford County to promote local businesses during the pandemic.
the PROFESSOR
For the past six years, Garrett has been a Professor in Fanshawe College's Business Entrepreneurship & Management program, teaching Digital Marketing and Website Design.
Using his experience and skillset, Garrett approaches teaching hands-on, using modern technologies to engage with aspiring entrepreneurial business students. As the Creative Director with Strobe Creative, Garrett can stay current with relevant techniques and social media platforms to ensure the curriculum remains current.
During their mentorship course, Garrett works with 2nd-year students as a mentor for aspiring entrepreneurs.
In September 2023, Garrett was appointed the Program Coordinator of Fanshawe College's Business Entrepreneurship & Management program.

In 2013, Garrett Gaudet launched the electronic music podcast EDM Weekly with Garrett Gaudet. As the host and resident DJ, Garrett transformed EDM Weekly into a media publication providing event coverage for international music festivals and events such as A State of Trance Festival, Kygo - Kids In Love Tour, Bud Light Dreams Festival, and Ever After Music Festival.
During the summer of 2018, EDM Weekly debuted on FM Radio for a summer residency on 102.7 Radio Waterloo.
Garrett has worked with international electronic artists such as Tchami, Vini Vici, Orjan Nilsen, MaRLo, Jorn van Deynhoven, and more.
EDM Weekly is a #1 Apple Podcasts Music Commentary podcast with 525 K+ downloads and over 380 episodes.

Garrett Gaudet's DJing career started with the #1 Apple Podcasts Music Commentary Podcast, EDM Weekly with Garrett Gaudet. With over 380 episodes and more than half a million downloads, his extensive knowledge of electronic music has led to Garrett becoming an influential music curator. His diverse music library, gives Garrett the ability to create unique sets that cater to the crowd and/or location. Mixing EDM, dance/pop, tech-house, melodic techno & big room into his signature 'Spectrum of Dance' style.

Since 2014, Garrett has designed websites, and it all started with GarrettGaudet.com. A site that has seen many iterations that continue to evolve with Garrett's branding.
Garrett began freelancing with website design in 2017 and started Strobe Creative in 2018.
In 2019, Garrett's Strobe Creative joined the Wix Partner Program.
As a website designer, Garrett has designed over 100 websites for businesses, brands, government organizations, non-profits and sports teams.
